Triple Crown has an official lodging online platform that teams are required to use for booking lodging. This convenient software automates and simplifies booking and reporting your rooms. When a team is paid and registered the coach will be emailed a custom team booking link. Teams that register early have first access to book lodging with our approved hotel partners. Many hotels or rooms types sell out fast. This system will allow you to request more rooms at some hotels but this is NOT a guarantee. We are always working to add hotels and more rooms so please check the feed regularly. EVENT DETAILS
2025 will be the twelfth year of the Don Battles On. This tournament is named after Don Minard, who has been a remarkable coach and mentor in the softball world. We are honored and humbled to run a tournament in recognition of such a great leader. This tournament will continue to draw college coaches and top club teams from all over the country.
ALL teams in all divisions must be ready to play at 4:45pm on Friday, November 21, 2025. Awards: Road to the Rockies Division ONLY - PAID entry into Power Pools for the 2026 Colorado 4th July in Colorado for winner of 14u Road to the Rockies Division. The paid entry is nontransferable to another team or age division. The entry is also nontransferable to another event and no "refund" of any kind if the entry is not used for the team that wins the 14u Road to the Rockies Division at Don Battles On. Field Locations for Each Age Division: All Open Divisions: Chino Hills, Riverside, La Puente, La Habra, Fontana, Perris, Lake Elsinore 14U Road to the Rockies Division: Lake Elsinore - Rosetta Canyon Lodging: This is a "stay to play" tournament. Teams outside of the 80-mile radius must actualize 16 total room nights (ex: 8 rooms for 2 nights) with an approved property. REFUND POLICYA 20% non-refundable administration fee will be charged on all registrations. There are no refunds or transfers if brackets have been posted, your age division is sold out or if a team cancels 30 or fewer days prior to the start of the event. Otherwise, if a team cancels 90 days prior to the event start date, they may transfer the registration to another Triple Crown Fastpitch headquartered event for full value or receive a refund via check minus the 50% fee. Lastly, if a team cancels 91 prior to the event start date, they may transfer the registration to another Triple Crown Fastpitch headquartered event for full value or receive a refund via check minus the 20% administration fee. If an age division does not make you will be entitled to a full refund. Act of God Refund Policy If an event is lost due to weather or any Act of God (i.e. COVID-19), the entry fee will be refunded via check minus the 20% administration fee. If one game is played you will receive 50% of entry fee. If two or more games are played there is no refund. FAQ
