Triple Crown Sports is eagerly anticipating one of the true highlights of the fall calendar, the 2017 Don Battles On fastpitch event in Southern California. This tournament is named after Don Minard, who has been a valued coach, mentor and influencer in the softball world. We are honored and humbled to run a tournament to honor this great leader.
Being an invite-only tournament, Don Battles On draws college coaches and top club teams from all over the country. This three-day event features a four-game guarantee, kicking off with the Titans Softball Camp
hosted by Cal State Fullerton on Friday morning, November 17th, followed by pool play games that night.
The instructional camp is a one-day experience for athletes who aspire to play at an elite level. This camp will allow all players to walk away with a wealth of knowledge and physical/mental skills necessary for the highest level.
Along with Cal State Fullerton, coaching staffs from the University of Mississippi, Carroll College, and
Metropolitan State University of Denver will also be attending.
The opportunities provided by this tournament are endless. The winner of the 14u division will receive a paid power pool spot in the 2018 Sparkler Juniors Tournament. Both the 16u and 18u winners will receive a paid power pool spot in the 2018 Fireworks Tournament.
