The MIT/East Coast Camp is open to any and all athletes. This is a 3 hour camp for players that aspire to play at an elite level. This camp will allow all players to walk away with a wealth of knowledge and physical/mental skills necessary for the highest level.
Players need to provide their own softball equipment, helmet, bat, glove, cleats, catching gear, etc.
*Please note that team games will not be held at this time so there will be NO conflicts with team game scheduling.*
Jen Williams enters her eighth year as the head coach of the MIT softball team in 2018. This past season Williams became the winningest coach in program history and now has 130 victories under her belt since taking over head coaching duties in 2011.
In 2016 the MIT softball team - in just its second NCAA Tournament - advanced through regionals and super regionals to reach the College World Series as the Engineers finished fifth overall and No. 7 in the final NFCA national coaches poll. During her tenure, the Cardinal and Gray has generated double-digit wins in six of the last seven seasons and produced the Institute’s first 20-win campaign. Williams also became the second coach in program history to reach the 100-win plateau after finishing the year 34-14 overall and 16-2 in NEWMAC play and first to garner NFCA New England Coaching Staff of the Year accolades.
